why we like to scream like little girls
For years people have been going to horror films to scare them selves silly. But why do we get such a rush from seeing these scary movies. The reality behind this all is the adrenaline we get when we get scared, it makes us get on the edge of our seat, racing with energy. This surge of energy makes our emotion soar high. And what do we know about emotion children? "to never have them Mr. C" "NO! Suzy back in the corner". What we know about emotion is that is the driving force behind what we feel, and how we interpret. So making emotions rise high means you will arouse more response from your audience. Making them fear for your characters, and hopefully for themselves. This is the same as riding a roller coaster, you know you are safe, but the slight chance it might be fatal gives a person such a rush. This rush is what adrenaline junkies feed on. These junkies love for the edge on the seat thrill, so if a movie can satisfy, they will go back that style again, and again, and again.
